The Crescent House Hotel is a family owned and run hotel ideally located on the oldest street in Ilfracombe, within a few minutes walk of the sea front, harbour, restaurants and shops. The hotel was initially built around 1830, for Sir James Meek and later in 1883 was extended and turned into a Hotel. It boasts many beautiful original features of the Victorian period with an elegant Victorian Conservatory leading out to terraced gardens from which to enjoy the views of Capstone Hill and the Sea. The hotel offers an elegant dining room, comfortable lounge and bar. The town offers various attractions to tourists such as the Water Mouth Castle, Maritime Museum, harbour with sea cruises, resorted water mill and pottery, golf course, Dovetails Gallery, Land Mark Theatre and Entertainment Complex, Chambercombe haunted manor, shingle beaches, scenic walking trails, horse riding and pony trekking center, clay pigeon shooting, bird sanctuary, steam train, Combe Martin Wildlife and Dinosaur Park.

Directions

Leave M5 at Junction 27 and take the A361 signposted to Barnstaple. Continue on the A361 to Barnstaple and then follow the signs to Ilfracombe. On arrival in Ilfracombe travel straight through the traffic lights up the High Street and bear left where the Road forks into Fore Street continue through the No Entry sign. The Crescent House Hotel is on your left.
